BURBERRY | SS25

(National Theatre, London)

Set against the striking brutalist architecture of London’s National Theatre, Burberry’s SS25 show featured a bespoke set created by acclaimed artist Gary Hume, continuing the brand’s long standing commitment to supporting the arts.

Working with the building’s distinctive architectural features, the lighting design was crafted with a strong focus on aesthetics, creating an installation that felt like a pre-existing part of the space. In the darker areas with low ceilings, we designed and installed 110 custom-tunable LED tiles, carefully recessed into the waffle slab ceiling voids. Paired with HMI backlighting behind frosted windows, this approach brightened the space and created a seamless transition to the adjacent, expansive glazed atrium.

To enhance cohesion, we selected tall, linear arrays of tunable profiles, integrating them effortlessly to feel like a natural extension of the theatre’s existing house lighting system.
