BURBERRY | ESCAPES AW21

Burberry AW21 menswear presentation was held at the Regent Street flagship store in London. Once the site of an eminent gallery, with its inaugural exhibition dedicated to arts and crafts, the space hosted the first menswear-focused collection by Riccardo Tisci for the brand.

Renegade’s lighting scheme was conceived from the idea of creating a bright, day lit space within the historic walls the brand’s flagship store. The lighting had to convey the feeling of a glass atrium being flooded in natural daylight to enhance and soften the draping and the angles of the show’s scenic installation, minimising shadows and keeping the focus on the collection.

A key point of the brief was to conceal the physical lighting elements as much as possible, creating a sophisticated, minimal design and maintaining continuity with the beautiful architecture of the building.
