H&M | GLOBAL EVENT SERIES
(YoYo Club, Paris)
H&M launched a series of global events showcasing a new direction, championing collaborators through music, fashion, arts and culture. For their Paris iteration, in collaboration with Kennedy and scenographer Jean-Baptiste Verguin, the iconic YoYo was transformed into a club space for the fashion brand.
Towering, 21-foot-tall asymmetric light totems fully utilised the venue’s dramatic verticality. An industrial extended performance stage stretched into the main room, featuring a custom DJ deck and totem bases clad in perforated steel mesh, accented with contrasting red triangular sound insulation panels. These elements further enhanced the textural material palette.
Our detailed lighting design was conceptualised in response to the venue’s significant height and limited floor space, enabling us to create multiple bold looks and effects throughout the night. Rings of strobes and wash lights encircled the room, reaching high into the space to emphasise the vertical design while echoing H&M’s brand colours.
